GolfThere's specialists will provide a golf trip that meets your requirements and creates a lifetime positive memory of your golfing experience from "bucket list" destinations to the get-away week-end trip just a few hours from home. GolfThere sells high quality golf vacation packages that include hotel accommodations and golf courses all over the world (and other services such as rental cars, meals, etc.). Trips offered by GolfThere start with get-away weekends of 3 days/2 nights with 2 golf rounds and can be as long as several weeks in international destinations like Ireland and Scotland. Your use of this website means that you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
DEPOSIT/PAYMENT/NON-REFUNDABLE FEES FOR USA BOOKINGS: All golf or vacation packages require a $100.00 deposit per person at the time of purchase. No pricing can be guaranteed until you pay your deposit. GolfThere will generally hold reservations pending final approval but cannot guarantee pricing until the customer makes a deposit with GolfThere and the company in turn, books the vacation. Your final payment of the remaining balance is due 40 days prior to arrival. Vacations purchased within 40 days prior to departure on your vacation require immediate payment in full. Deposits not received within five (5) business days of booking will result in cancellation of your reservation. IMPORTANT NOTE: After you have made a deposit with GolfThere, you may cancel your golf vacation reservation until 10 days prior to departure (unless your specialist details a longer time frame upon confirming your reservation), less any vendor imposed fees that have been detailed to you at the time of your deposit. Vendor imposed fees, (if any), cannot be waived as GolfThere pays those costs associated with your booking to hotels/golf courses/suppliers and cannot be recovered by GolfThere after collecting your deposit and booking your vacation. We do not add additional fees and pass only the fees/penalties required by the underlying supplier.
CANCELLATIONS FOR USA BOOKINGS: Vacations can be cancelled with a full refund, less any vendor imposed fees, more than 10 days prior to arrival. Cancellations 10 days to 7 days prior to arrival, a fee of 50% of your trip cost will be imposed in addition to any vendor imposed fees. Cancellations within 7 days of package arrival date are 100% non-refundable. Cancellation notice must be given to GolfThere during normal business hours - Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Central Time (USA) via a phone call or in-person at our offices only (i.e. email is not acceptable). GolfThere strongly recommends a travel insurance plan for all golf vacations. Please ask your salesperson if you have any questions regarding details of potential cancellation penalties.
CONDOS, PRIVATE HOMES & SELECT ACCOMMODATIONS: Certain properties require different payment terms and have different cancellation penalties than those outlined above. Consult with your sales representative for details.

No pricing can be guaranteed until you pay a deposit. GolfThere will generally hold reservations pending final approval but cannot guarantee pricing until the customer makes a deposit with GolfThere and the company in turn, books the vacation. Your final payment of the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Vacations purchased within 60 days prior to departure on your vacation require immediate payment in full. Deposits not received within five (5) business days of booking will result in cancellation of your reservation. IMPORTANT NOTE: For customers traveling on the “Old Course Experience” to St. Andrews, Scotland, or other high demand destinations, a higher deposit amount of up 50% may be required. Please contact your salesperson for details and full deposit amounts.
CANCELLATIONS FOR IRELAND, SCOTLAND AND OTHER NON-USE DESTINATIONS: Due to the nature of international travel, cancellation charges and fees are based upon the number of days to travel for non-USA destinations. These fees are due to the complex nature of international travel, costs associated with booking international hotels and golf courses, which may be non-refundable (Example: Ireland/Scotland due to the short season for golf).

Customers traveling on the “Old Course Experience” are subject to additional cancellation penalties as this destination is in high demand and is non-refundable and non-changeable (Contact your golf sales specialist for details). Cancellation notice must be given to GolfThere during normal business hours - Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. via a phone call or in-person only. Due to the cancellation penalties and the inflexibility of suppliers to refund our direct costs, GolfThere strongly recommends a travel insurance plan for all INTERNATIONAL golf vacations. In particular, health related issues make travel insurance for international golf trips a wise choice.
CURRENCY CHANGES & FLUCTUATIONS: GolfThere makes every effort to protect our customers from currency changes and fluctuations. Customers traveling to Ireland, Scotland and other international destinations may be subject to changes in their trip cost because of these fluctuations. A final itinerary and price will be provided at 61 days prior to travel and this will be the final price. The customer has the option to cancel their trip without any penalty (unless there are vendor imposed fees that have been disclosed by your golf sales specialist). Changes of 5% or less are the responsibility of the customer.
CHANGES and REFUNDS: GolfThere does not charge any change fees, however if the change results in a cancellation fee imposed by a vendor you will be responsible for that fee. Each vendor (golf course, hotel, etc.) establishes their own cancellation policy; please verify with your sales specialist or customer service what penalties might be imposed on your particular package. No changes can be accepted less than 7 days prior to the package arrival date. If an emergency arises while on the package you must notify GolfThere immediately. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of any refunds. If you need to contact us after hours with an emergency, please call and listen to the Emergency instructions and you will be routed to someone on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All refunds for cancellations will be issued within 30 days of notification and upon return of all issued travel vouchers. Please note that we are unable to refund golf course issued rain checks for future use that you have negotiated or accepted directly from a golf course.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If weather conditions render the golf course unplayable at the discretion of the host facility's staff on the day and time of confirmed play, submit your confirmation vouchers to the facility's staff for them to sign noting course closure and/or have the course email GolfThere: email@example.com. Then return your signed vouchers to GolfThere within 10 days of your trip completion for a greens fee refund less any course fees for partial play, (if any). Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the receipt of your signed vouchers. Once you have submitted your vouchers to the golf course for play, GolfThere guarantees payment to the course and refunds thereafter are the responsibility of the golf course and will be handled directly at the golf course. We are unable to refund a golf course issued rain check. Do not assume a golf course is closed due to weather. Please contact the course and be prepared to play. Rain is intermittent and course closures are infrequent.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/DISPUTE RESOLUTION/BINDING ARBITRATION: GolfThere does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those service providers in connection with your travel pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. GolfThere is licensed to market and distribute travel products under the brand name, and arrange for the vacation services offered in its brochure or on its Web site, including transportation, golf courses and accommodations through independent contracts. The golf courses, hotels and resort accommodations, and other suppliers (including but not limited to airlines, trains, cruises, ferries, motor coaches, car rentals, hotels, insurance, FedEx, and restaurants) providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint ventures of GolfThere, or its affiliates. All certificates and other travel documents for services issued by GolfThere are subject to the Terms and Conditions specified by the supplier, which are available upon request, and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. After departure, if the services included in the vacation cannot be supplied or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of GolfThere, GolfThere will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be the responsibility of vacation participants, and any resulting savings will be refunded by GolfThere to the group participants.
The vacation participant agrees that neither GolfThere, nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services, any insurer or insurance administrator, or any other person. Any dispute between the vacation participant and GolfThere directly or indirectly relating to the Terms and Conditions shall be first submitted to mediation at Birmingham, Alabama, before a mediator mutually agreed to by the parties. If mediation is not successful, the dispute must be resolved by binding arbitration under Alabama law before a state approved arbiter. The prevailing party shall be entitled to an award of costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees. Any action to enforce the arbitrator’s decision shall be brought in the state or federal courts in the State of Alabama. Arbitration against GolfThere must be commenced within one year following the date of travel completion. Neither GolfThere nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages. No person, other than an officer of GolfThere by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in its brochure or on its Web site, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.
SERVICE INQUIRES AFTER YOUR VACATION: After returning from your vacation, if you wish to inquire about any services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by GolfThere and includes your package reference number. Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services offered in brochure or on the Web sites must be notified to GolfThere within 30 days of the tour completion, except where such time limitations are prohibited by law. As it is difficult and sometimes impossible to properly investigate a complaint if we are not advised of such complaint quickly, any compensation you may have been able to claim could be reduced or even forfeited if you do not follow the complaints procedure set out in this clause. In the event of a problem or complaint involving the negligence of any of our suppliers, sub-contractors, or agents in relation to any service provided to the vacation participant, we must receive the complaint while on the tour or cruise or within 30 days of tour completion.
