Grayhawk Golf Club - Raptor Course

This Tom Fazio designed course is sure to keep you on your toes and will entertain you with a high risk and reward round of golf. The Raptor Course meanders through small hills and natural washes that are typical in this region of the Sonoran Desert. Plant life such as Saguaro Cacti, Palo Verde, Ironwood and Mesquite trees decorate the course like only an Arizona environment can do. In keeping with Fazio tradition, most of the natural landscaping was preserved while making the Raptor course in order to enhance the challenge as well as protect the environment. The fairways are large and generous, however the strategic bunkers will test your shot accuracy. Greens are perched above deep bunkers and will challenge your approach shot, adding to the intensity of the game.

Not only is this course visually stimulating but it has also been awarded the recognition as one of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." by Golf Magazine. The Raptor has also hosted numerous tournaments and professional golf event such as a Fall Series PGA Tour in 2007 and the 2007 Fry's Electronics Open.
