Whirlwind Golf Club, just outside of Phoenix, AZprovides the traveling golfer a unique southwest golf experience.  Boasting 5 sets of tees and stretching more than 7,200 yards from the tips, Whirlwind will provide a great golf experience for golfers of every level.  Whirlwind is the work of golf course architect Gary Panks and is managed by Troon Golf, a company know for outstanding facilities.  The Panks design weaves the spirit of the land into a marvelous test of golf.  The course has played host to a number of events including the Nationwide PGA Tour in 2003, 2004  and 2005. In 2009 Whirlwind hosted the US Amateur Qualifier.
