		Highland Park Golf Club was established in 1903, making it the oldest golf course in the state of Alabama. This par 70 golf course is classic in design. Highland Park lays claim to being Bobby Jones' first victory, at the ripe old age of 14. The course was revitalized in 1998 and offers many features you would expect from a championship course, including massive elevation changes, speedy greens and immaculate fairways. Located in downtown Birmingham this is a fun yet challenging addition to any Birmingham area golf vacation package.

This is a great golf course with some of the finest greens that I have ever played. The course is in top condition (November 2010) and while it is short, it is a challenging course. Also, played a fast round before we got on a plane.

I would certainly play this course again. Really want to rate 3.5 stars, but 4 is for longer courses. Greens were awesome, and the fairways looked like I was the first one to play (gets busy on weekdays after 4 o'clock so kudoos to the maintenance crew). I travel to Birmingham a lot so you know where I'm going if a meeting runs short.

This is one of the best maintained golf courses that I have ever played. The course is short and when there are not a lot of people, it plays fast too. Greens roll true, but they are fast. Very enjoyable.
