Golf Club of Estrella
Jack Nicklaus II designed the Golf Club of Estrella to be a diverse desert course. The Sierra Estrella Mountains, the namesake of the course, serve as a picturesque backdrop to the rolling fairways. The natural vegetation around the course has been carefully preserved by Nicklaus in order to maintain the beauty of the environment.
Nicklaus challenges golfers to use every club in the bag and the rocky terrain does not lend a helping hand when trying to make those winning putts. The Golf Club of Estrella course will test a golfer’s mental game as well as physical and will be an overall rewarding experience. In 2000, Estrella was listed among the Top 40 Daily Fee Courses in both Golfweek magazine and Golf magazine.
