The Phoenician

If Scottsdale is in the middle of the desert, you would never know it by looking at the Phoenician. The sound of trickling water echoes throughout every marbled hallway, and reverberates off every banister ceiling. Dine in over 10 restaurants, although we do not suggest doing it all in just one night. Pools refresh golfers from their fairway toils, and the excellent retail shops, tennis courts, and Cactus Garden can occupy the time of those who would rather not golf. We recommend that golf vacationers check out the $25 million art collection, where viewers can gaze upon French Tapestries, Navajo Rugs, Oil Paintings, and, of course, Macaroni Art.

The Phoenician

Located at the base of Camelback Mountain on 250 acres in Scottsdale, Arizona, The Phoenician offers two exquisite experiences – a 583-room AAA Five Diamond resort hotel and an exclusive 60-room Five Diamond boutique hotel, The Canyon Suites -- at one magnificent destination.

Here, luxury is as diverse as it is inspired.   Distinctive cuisine is presented across eight restaurants, highlighted by the innovative, all-American fare of Relish Burger Bistro, the tantalizing, Italian creations of Il Terrazzo; and the classic dishes of J&G Steakhouse from renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.  Signature activities include golf on The Phoenician’s 27-hole championship course, featuring Arizona’s only sand-island green; tennis at the Southwest’s largest resort facility; and a selection of nearly 80 lush spa treatments at the world-renowned Centre for Well-Being.

My husband and I stayed here not long ago and it was fantastic. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea and the wonderful pools.
