The Wetlands

The Wetlands Golf Club is Lafayette's newest golf course and the newest member of The Audubon Golf Trail. Opened in April 2006, this course was designed by architect Frank Burandt. The course not only showcases the region's many lakes and wetland areas, it also features abundant native grasses and wildflowers. The challenge of the golf course presents itself with well-bunkered greens and water hazards that affect 11 of its 18 holes. The Wetlands accommodates all levels of players with five tees ranging from 7,300 yards at the longest and just over 5,000 yards at the shortest. The TifDwarf greens are smooth rolling, providing a test for every golfer. Wind is a factor on this golf course's #9 and #18 holes, which feature a double green that ends at the clubhouse for dramatic finishes.
