Kiawah Island - Turtle Point
Kiawah's Turtle Point is a tribute to traditional, classic golf. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the intention of this course is to challenge the mental game of golfers. A bit more satisfying for better players, because of its traditional design, Turtle Point calls for accuracy and strategic choices. Driving well is essential to making par, as Turtle Point is one of the longest courses on the island. Wind affects Turtle Point, as it does every Kiawah course, but trees seem to shelter it on most holes. Local knowledge is invaluable when playing Turtle Point. Kiawah Island Resort is the site of the 2012 PGA Championship, so book today and play where the pros will play!
